Who We Are

Since 2016, I have been actively working on the ground in Marrakech to improve the lives of street cats.
Sterilize. Treat. Feed. Protect.

For many years, I personally financed this work.
Sterilizations, veterinary care, food — everything was covered through my own resources.

Today, the scale of the situation exceeds my financial capacity.
That is why I created this website myself: to show you, with complete transparency, what I have been doing for years and why I now need your help.

This project was not born from an abstract idea, but from daily reality, repeated emergencies, and the impossibility of looking away.

Concrete Help, Day After Day

Today, 47 cats live in the villa under permanent protection.
They were taken in injured, sick, abandoned, or rejected. Many would not have survived without immediate care.

At the same time, just as many cats live outside, in the streets and surrounding areas, and receive food, medical care, and sterilization whenever possible.

Each cat has its own story. Some arrive in critical condition, others weakened by hunger or infection. The help provided is always adapted to the urgency: veterinary care, treatments, food, and temporary shelter.

Why Morocco?

The situation of stray cats in Morocco is particularly difficult.
Resources are limited, shelters are rare, and sterilization remains insufficient. Without intervention, suffering repeats generation after generation.

Acting here means acting at the source.
Sterilization limits overpopulation, medical care prevents unnecessary deaths, and food gives exhausted animals a chance to survive.

An Independent and Committed Initiative

Cats of Atlas is an independent initiative, driven by personal commitment, consistency, and respect for animals.
Each action is carefully considered based on real needs — without automation or industrialized aid.

The goal is not to “save everyone” — that would be unrealistic — but to save those we can, with seriousness, dignity, and transparency.

The Essential Role of Donations

Donations are essential to provide:

  • Emergency veterinary care
  • Medication
  • Daily food
  • Sterilization
  • Temporary shelter

Every contribution, even a modest one, has a direct impact.
A donation can feed, treat, sterilize, or simply relieve suffering.

Without external support, this work cannot continue.

Transparency and Respect

Cats of Atlas is committed to the responsible use of funds.
Donations are exclusively dedicated to animal protection actions carried out on the ground.

Regular updates are shared through the website and social media, including photos, concrete information, and visible results.

A Mission That Is Above All Human

Helping stray cats also means defending a certain idea of humanity — one that chooses compassion over indifference.

Since 2016, this mission has continued despite the difficulties, because every life matters.

Cats of Atlas exists thanks to those who refuse to look away.
