Luna’s Story

Some encounters remain forever etched in the heart.
Luna’s story is one of them.

We met seven years ago, in the heart of the Marrakech medina, in a beautiful traditional riad filled with light, plants, and tranquility. Luna lived there with her owner, in a place where she had grown up surrounded by attention and kindness.

Luna was already an extremely affectionate and elegant cat, with that deep and peaceful gaze that only cats who have known safety and love possess. She loved to stroll quietly through the riad’s patio, lie in the sun, and watch the life of the medina with curiosity.

But sometimes life forces us to make difficult decisions.

One day, the owners of the riad had to sell their beautiful home and return to France. Their departure was inevitable, and a painful question arose: what would happen to Luna?

It was unthinkable for me to see her left alone or abandoned.
So Luna stayed in Morocco with me.

Since that day, she has been part of our big family.

Today, Luna is 15 years old. She is a very gentle lady, full of wisdom and tenderness. With age, she now enjoys the simple things in life: a quiet place, a comfortable cushion, the warmth of the sun, and the presence of the people she loves.

She now spends a lot of time sleeping, as many senior cats do. But when she wakes up, she still comes to ask for cuddles with the same sweetness as before. Her gaze remains just as calm and peaceful.

Luna is happy and safe, but like many senior cats, she needs attention, care, and support to continue living her golden years peacefully.
