The Story of Vialetta (Vivi) — The Eyes That Changed a Life

Sometimes a meeting lasts only a few seconds… but it changes everything.

I met this little cat at the Yasmine veterinary clinic in Marrakech.
She had been abandoned there, simply left behind as if her life didn’t matter. No one knew where she had come from. She wandered quietly through the clinic, looking at every person who passed by, as if she were searching for someone… someone who would want her.

She didn’t make any noise.
She simply watched.

When our eyes met, something happened.
Her eyes were an incredible color — a soft violet, almost lilac. A deep, fragile gaze, full of hope.

I couldn’t remain indifferent.

At that moment, I understood she couldn’t stay alone. I took her in my arms, and that is how she entered my life.

Because of her very special eyes, I gave her a new name: Vialetta.

Since that day, Vivi — or rather Vialetta — has lived with us. She has become a gentle, calm, and incredibly affectionate little cat. She loves quiet moments, gentle strokes, and the warmth of a home where she finally feels safe.

Today, she is happy.
But her story reminds us how many wonderful animals are still abandoned every day.
