GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF DONATION

Your donation saves lives

1. Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Donation define the terms under which donations are made to:

Any donation made on the website implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

2. Nature of the Donation

A donation is a voluntary act made without direct consideration.

The donor acknowledges that the donation is made free of charge and without expecting any service or benefit in return.

3. Payment Methods

Donations may be made online through secure platforms:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal

Transactions are secured using SSL encryption protocols.

CATS OF ATLAS does not have access to donors’ full banking details.

4. Donation Amount

The donor is free to choose:

  • The amount of the donation
  • Whether the donation is one-time or recurring (if offered on the website)

The donation becomes final upon confirmation of payment.

5. Tax Receipts

If the association meets the conditions set out in Articles 200 and 238 bis of the French General Tax Code:

  • Individuals may benefit from a 66% income tax reduction of the donation amount, up to 20% of taxable income.
  • Companies may benefit from a 60% tax reduction of the donation amount, within legal limits.

A tax receipt may be issued upon request or automatically if the system allows.

It is the donor’s responsibility to verify eligibility with the relevant tax authorities.

6. No Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to donations.

However, in the event of a clear error (duplicate payment, incorrect amount), the donor may contact the association within a reasonable time in order to review the situation.

7. Allocation of Donations

Donations are allocated to the general missions of the association:

  • Rescue and protection of cats
  • Veterinary care
  • Sterilization
  • Food
  • Shelter

The association reserves the right to allocate funds according to priority needs.

8. Personal Data Protection

Data collected during the donation process is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information is used solely for:

  • Processing the donation
  • Issuing the tax receipt
  • Communication related to the association’s activities

9. Liability

CATS OF ATLAS shall not be held liable for technical malfunctions beyond its control (network issues, payment service interruption, etc.).

10. Applicable Law and Disputes

These General Terms and Conditions of Donation are governed by French law.

Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.

11. Modification of the Terms

CATS OF ATLAS reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Donation at any time in order to ensure compliance with applicable legislation.
