Story of Demon (Didi)

I found Didi near the Marrakech train station. He wasn’t alone — he was with his brother, two small cats trying to survive in the noise, dust, and constant bustle of the city.

I fed them several evenings in a row. At first, they waited for me quietly, without coming too close. Little by little, trust began to grow. Didi was gentle, a bit more reserved than his brother, but his gaze was deep and touching.

One evening, something was wrong. When I arrived with food, Didi refused to eat. That was unusual — he was always there at mealtime. It was already getting dark, but his behavior worried me. I picked him up to take a closer look.

When I touched his neck, I felt an abnormal swelling. In the light, I discovered a large abscess in his throat. The infection was already advanced. It was a Saturday evening, so it was impossible to take him immediately to a veterinary clinic. I couldn’t leave him without doing anything, so I gave him Marbocyl while waiting to see the vet.

On Monday morning, I took him to the veterinary clinic. The veterinarian opened the abscess to drain the infection. After that, we continued the treatment with antibiotics for several days. The care was regular, attentive, and patient. Little by little, Didi regained his strength. His eyes became lively again. He started eating again. The pain faded away.

Today, Didi is a completely transformed cat. He lives with us, safe and protected. He has become one of the kindest and most affectionate cats. Incredibly gentle, he seeks out affection, curls up against us, and shows his quiet gratitude every day.

This little cat found near the train station, once fragile and wounded, is now happy, loved, and deeply at peace. Didi is no longer a street cat. He is a member of the family — and one of the most tender.
